Top Ten tips from Future Artists:
1) find a creative solution to a problem, don’t throw money at it, think around it
2) help others, and others will help you
3) choose 3 other shows that you can go to and support them, in return invite them to yours,
4) if someone says NO, ask them WHY?
5)use social media to be SOCIAL hang out online for an hour a day on which ever social network your audience might hang out on, talk to them.
6) invite bloggers instead of traditonal press, and photographers from universitys to cover your event.
7) do cast and crew interviews on your mobile phone and upload to youtube
listen to others, don’t always be the one who has to lead9) take the lead when others flounder
10) be not part of, be free…. and enjoy the festival… its fun!
